Eucalyptus are trees that flower in the late spring and summer. They have clusters of small, spikey, delicate flowers that bees and insects love. The hardy varieties we grow all have white flowers, some of the less hardy have red flowers.

Beautiful, rare ornamental speciman and the only Eucalyptus with red flowers hardy enough for the UK. A versitile tree when it comes to soil conditions, fragrant leaves and smooth mottled bark.

NOTE: Hardiness rating -5C - 10C but as yet untested by us. Grow in a sheltered position or as a potted tree which can be moved under cover to overwinter.

Soil: Wet tolerant, Salt tolerant, Dry tolerant
Position: Full Sun, Sheltered postion
Growth Habit: Clear trunk with bushy, dense canopy
Leaves: Thin and glossy dark green/grey
Bark: Smooth, yellow/grey with mottled creamy white patches
Special Interest: Ornamental Specimen, large red flowers, can be container grown, aromatic leaves.
